(I'm not super familiar with the encryption system but it seems to be described there) 2021-11-03 20:54:44 OoLunar Hmm... I think a have a vague idea of what to do, but I'll probably come back later with more questions lol. Right now I'm just trying to speculate how to implement this, but I guess the only way to figure things out is by getting my hands dirty 2021-11-03 21:31:36 <-- turtius (~turtius@103.217.179.176) a quitté (Quit: Leaving) 2021-11-03 21:40:53 --> ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-03 21:56:21 <-- Guest98 (~Guest98@85.234.200.174) a quitté (Quit: Client closed) 2021-11-03 23:10:30 <-- ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Quit: Client closed) 2021-11-03 23:10:37 --> ZacSharp28 (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-03 23:10:41 <-- ZacSharp28 (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Client Quit) 2021-11-03 23:11:12 --> ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-03 23:15:49 --> Bash09 (~Bash@150.203.66.10) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-03 23:38:17 <-- OoLunar (~OoLunar@047-004-110-002.res.spectrum.com) a quitté (Quit: Client closed) 2021-11-04 00:11:00 Bash09 When I am interpretting the chunk data packets, everything seems to be going alright except that in some chunk sections I am getting block counts slightly greater than 4096, is this intended behaviouror am I doing something wrong? I am loading chunks in an ocean so my first guess is that something waterlogged like kelp is being counted multiple times for example? 2021-11-04 00:15:39 pokechu22 That sounds like incorrect behavior, but it is possible that waterlogged blocks do count twice (it seems unlikely though) - you could probably test by filling a chunk section with waterlogged kelp and seeing if the count is 8192 2021-11-04 00:16:38 Bash09 Alrighty thank you, I will try that 2021-11-04 00:46:57 Bash09 Can confirm waterlogged kelp does not count multiple times. 2021-11-04 00:49:59 <-- ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Quit: ZacSharp) 2021-11-04 01:05:11 <-- daswf852 (~daswf852@user/daswf852) a quitté (Ping timeout: 264 seconds) 2021-11-04 01:33:29 --> daswf852 (~daswf852@user/daswf852) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 02:02:07 <-- daswf852 (~daswf852@user/daswf852) a quitté (Ping timeout: 268 seconds) 2021-11-04 02:30:05 --> daswf852 (~daswf852@user/daswf852) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 11:44:10 --> high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 11:44:53 <-- high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a quitté #mcdevs 2021-11-04 11:45:15 --> high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 12:16:25 <-- scara (~user@user/scara) a quitté (Remote host closed the connection) 2021-11-04 12:18:48 --> scara (~user@user/scara) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 12:32:00 <-- high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a quitté #mcdevs 2021-11-04 12:33:29 --> high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 12:38:29 --> MrEmPee[m] (~mrempeema@2001:470:69fc:105::1:2b50) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 12:40:00 MrEmPee[m] Is there a bridge between this room and IRC? 2021-11-04 12:40:21 high_ground Sample: huh 2021-11-04 12:45:19 <-- MrEmPee[m] (~mrempeema@2001:470:69fc:105::1:2b50) a quitté #mcdevs 2021-11-04 13:10:53 --> EmPee (uid525760@id-525760.tinside.irccloud.com) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 13:11:59 <-- EmPee (uid525760@id-525760.tinside.irccloud.com) a quitté (Client Quit) 2021-11-04 13:24:39 <-- Bash09 (~Bash@150.203.66.10) a quitté (Quit: Leaving) 2021-11-04 15:51:33 <-- pokechu22 (~pokechu22@user/pokechu22) a quitté (Ping timeout: 268 seconds) 2021-11-04 15:53:22 --> pokechu22 (~pokechu22@user/pokechu22) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 21:20:06 --> ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 22:20:16 <-- ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Quit: I hate forced browser restarts) 2021-11-04 22:21:06 --> ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-04 23:16:17 <-- ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Ping timeout: 256 seconds) 2021-11-05 00:06:25 --> ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-05 00:31:39 <-- ZacSharp (~ZacSharp@user/zacsharp) a quitté (Ping timeout: 256 seconds) 2021-11-05 00:41:09 --> Bash09 (~Bash@150.203.66.10) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-05 07:45:43 <-- Bash09 (~Bash@150.203.66.10) a quitté (Quit: Leaving) 2021-11-05 09:17:22 <-- high_ground (~yes@129.151.69.173) a quitté (Changing host) 2021-11-05 09:17:22 --> high_ground (~yes@user/high-ground/x-5722129) a rejoint #mcdevs 2021-11-05 09:46:14 <-- high_ground (~yes@user/high-ground/x-5722129) a quitté (Quit: ZNC 1.7.5+deb4 - You use the other clientbound packets both for moving entities, and for moving players other than the player receiving the packet 2021-11-12 01:55:23 guglicap Alright, that's what I imagined 2021-11-12 01:55:37 guglicap the wiki says entitiy movement is used if a player doesn't move as well 2021-11-12 01:56:07 guglicap should I use it for all players (including the client), only for other players, or only for the client? 2021-11-12 01:56:40 guglicap also nice to talk to you, most of the articles on wiki.vg I see are written by you I believe, hats off 2021-11-12 01:56:54 pokechu22 Where does it say that? So the meaning of this packet is basically that the entity did not move/look since the last such packet." 2021-11-12 02:04:11 pokechu22 Ah, yeah, that. It was a packet that indicated that the entity didn't move, but in later versions you just don't send any packet I think.
