I noticed that Hypixel supports MC versions 1.8 to 1.15. I'm wondering how they do this. Do they not run any content newer than 1.8 so that clients upscale, or do they somehow map newer content to lower version content (downscale)? Anyone have any ideas on this? 2020-01-30 19:49:16 chibill I am not sure as they use something totally different then like the ProtcolSUpport plugin 2020-01-30 19:49:31 chibill https://github.com/ProtocolSupport/ProtocolSupport 2020-01-30 19:50:38 KennyTV pretty sure they once started with 1.8 and built their own software from that 2020-01-30 19:50:51 chibill ^ 2020-01-30 19:51:58 chibill They might also just be using like a proxy server type thing.
